Note:
Most of the Little Simon Inspiration titles have a Christian slant but this board book is religiously neutral. The format is attractive: heavy cardboard, foil accents, color pages with a hand-lettered looking font on the left side and an illustration using the pertinent shape on the right side of the double-page spread. The shapes shown are common ones like circles, triangles, rectangles, and squares and also two less commonly taught to young children, the crescent and the star. Everything else about the book, including format and text, is the same as God Must Really Love...Colors! The only weakness is that rectangles and squares are associated with tree trunks because those shapes are cut from them for benches and chairs—a once-removed concept that might confuse children unless it is demonstrated.
