Note:
Despite a repulsive title, this is a fascinating "what if?" story. Set in Australia, it involves a group of school mates who make up stories while they wait for the bus. One of their stories takes them into the privileged world of a disabled girl whose father is Adolf Hitler. Motivated by the story, one of the boys in the group begins to think about its implication: about good and evil, about prejudice, social responsibility and about how they enter into his own life. There are no Jewish characters in the story but the issues raised are of interest to Jewish readers.
